Campanile Metz Centre - Gare

Small compact room having all the necessary accessories. Free wifi is appreciable. Close to the railway station but no sound comes into the room.

You would think as it is beside the trainstation you would have a lot of noise of trains and people. The room was sound proof from the outside. Could hear people in the hallway but nothing from outside and our room looked right on the trainstation. Found a parking across from the hotel. but it was closed, however you can also park at the trainstation which is almost as close as the other one.

Comfortable, clean room with a very large, comfortable bed and well-sized bathroom. Our room was very quiet. The hotel is about an 8 minute walk from the old town. The hotel's agreement with a nearby parking garage was very convenient, although we were a little confused about the process at first. It ended up being easy - park first, go to the hotel and pay the reduced parking rate there, receive another parking ticket to act as a sort of voucher in the carpark when you leave. The 12pm checkout was very convenient, allowing time to explore Metz in the morning before we left.
